The Spring season is an active one for the Cobras with Friday Night Lights and state tournaments for the competitive teams.
On Friday night, 200 young players and their families had a great time at FNL at the Immokalee Sports Complex.
On Saturday and Sunday, The U11 Boys played in their first state-level tournament. Congrats to Coach Marco and the Boys for their action-packed 3-2 overtime victory in the quarterfinals! The semi-finals are on March 19th in Auburndale.
Also on Saturday and Sunday, the U15 Boys and the U19 Boys competed in the President’s Cup. This is a state-level tournament that can lead to the Eastern Regional finals in West Virginia later in the spring. Both are competing in their respective age groups for a berth in the quarterfinals. The first round continues next weekend in Auburndale. The competition is strong and it is a must-win game for both teams.
Good luck Boys. GO COBRAS!
