U19 Boys

The U19 Boys played San Carlos Scorpions on Sunday October 10 and won their match by a score of 9-1. Actually, the game was stopped minute into the second half as Desir Watensky score the ninth goal and the eight-goal difference Mercy Rule.

The boys played a fast-paced game against a weaker team. The big difference was that our team did not lower skills as they have done in the past when they play a weaker opponent.

Ricky Lopez led the scorers with 5 goals, Job Choute 2, Fahad Amed 1, and Desir Watensky 1 .

 U15 Girls

Our Lady Cobras came into the early morning game strong holding off the Scorpions for the first 15 minutes with no score. As the game progressed the girls played to the best of their abilities but fell short to a 5-1 loss. They had a tough time getting to their goal with only 6 shots taken on goal. The defense was put to the test with the Scorpions taking 33 shots on goal. Goal Keeper Natalie Ibarra showed no fear stopping 14 direct shots on her. Her decision making and effort showed that she is becoming a very good goalkeeper for our Lady Cobras. She managed to stop 50% of the shots taken on her and only allowed 5 goals.

The only goal for the Cobras came from # 25 right winger Kathy Francisco on the 65 minute
