U15 Girls

10/30/21
Our girls came into a later than normal game time with great playing weather against San Carlos. Our girls got off to a very slow start for this game having no shots on goal against the Scorpions 6 shots in the 1st half. The 2nd half started a little better with our only goal scored from #13 Aneyli V. with an amazing pass from our right wing #11 Mercedes  A., 4 minutes at the start of the 2nd half. Our ladies where only able to take the ball to the goal a total of 5 times against the Scorpions 15 attempts. Our game ended in a 3-1 loss against San Carlos.  Our defense struggled the majority of the game to gain control but did come up with some key saves when it really counted.  Our MVP players this game where #23 Natalie I. with some amazing saves and a great penalty kick save that shocked everyone. #22 Kathy F. showed relentless control of the ball and a great effort showing up to steal the ball from the opponent.

U12 Boys

So today was such an eye opener. U12 rec boys played one of their best games yet. The passing was incredible. They have grown and are now able to move the ball successfully. The defense unfortunately on this game did not see a lot of play due to our offense pressure the whole game. We had one of our newer players Jorge “The  Wall” #2 played a strong defense position  didn’t allow any ball pass him. Our other new player Santiago #15 playing center midfield held on strong and helped lead the team to the end results.
